Our 2008 Evanston Cowboy Days Queen is LaChelle Lewis. LaChelle is the 17 year old daughter of Jeff and Verlene Lewis. She is a junior at South Summit High School. She is also an active member in the FFA and the service club. She competes in High School Rodeo competing in the queen competitions, barrel racing, and pole bending. LaChelle has already set her goals very high for someone her age. She has already received her CNA and plans on having her Associates Degree completed by the time she graduates from high school.
LaChelle is excited to share her experience and knowledge about rodeo with everyone during the Evanston Cowboy Days celebration. She grew up around horses and absolutely loves the sport of rodeo. She feels that is the queen's duty to promote the sport of rodeo and is honored to promote Evanston Cowboy Days. |

The 1st Attendant for 2008 is Sarah Lowe. Sarah is the 18 year old daughter of Woody and Sandra Lowe. She has graduated from Evanston High School in 2007, and is currently attending Utah State University. She is a member of the Kappa Delta Sorority. Sarah lives with her family on 30 acres out of town and has been around horses and other various animals her entire life. In 1998, she was the 1st Attendant to the Jr. Princess for the Uinta County Fair. Following that in 1999, she was crowned Jr. Princess, and in 2000 was crowned the Princess for the Uinta County Fair. She was a 4-H member for 8 years. During that time, she was a junior leader for three years and a member of the 4-H jorse judging team. In 2003, she joined the Evanston Cowboy Days Ladies Flag Posse. With the flag posse, Sarah traveled around Wyoming and Utah representing Evanston.
Sarah welcomes this opportunity to represent Evanston Cowboy Days. She feels this opportunity will allow her to be a role model to the youth of today and allow her to educate people in this community about the sport of rodeo. She is looking forward to competantly representing Evanston at many fine events, sharing her knowledge about rodeo and will strive to preserve the western way of life. She looks forward to meeting new people and learning from the experience. She is looking forward to helping out at all of the rodeos and spending more time with her horse. |

The 2nd Attandant for 2008 is Danielle Saban. Danielle is the 18 year old daughter of Shawn Saban and Brenda Saban. She lives on a little ranch in Almy with her family, which consists of two brothers and her grandparents who live down the road. And don't forget her best friend, Dan, her horse. He is five years old now and is the best thing that has ever happened! Danielle is a student at Evanston High School, and participates in choir, band, track and soccer, all while maintaining a 3.8 GPA. She has been involved in 4-H for 12 years. Danielle will be graduating from high school in a few weeks and plans to attend boot camp in January of 2009 for the Wyoming National Guard. She looks forward to the privilege of serving our country and making a difference.
Danielle has been working hard for many years to fulfill her dream of becoming Miss Rodeo Wyoming, and hopes to move on to become Miss Rodeo America. The Evanston Cowboy Days Queen contest is one of her steps to get there. Her family has always been involved with Cowboy Days for years. Her great great grandfather, her great grandfather, her great grandmother, and her grandmother have all had something to do with Cowboy Days. Danielle is excited to carry on this tradition. She loves kids and wants to be a role model for all the little girls. She wants the little boys to see how much fun rodeo can be. She loves Evanston and wants to promote Cowboy Days as an event where everyone wants to be. |
